Top destinations in Vietnam and bike trips

Why visit Vietnam: Vietnam is an astonishing mix of natural highlights and cultural diversity. The scenery ranges from jagged peaks seen from winding mountain passes down to verdant paddy fields painted every shade of green in the palette, while the nation’s long history and amazing number of ethnic minorities mean that culture-vultures will find plenty to admire. Hikers, bikers, and outdoor lovers can get their teeth into the countryside within the numerous national parks, while the spectacular karst seascape of Halong Bay is one natural sight that even the more slothful can experience up close on a cruise. While the rural areas brim with fantastic panoramas, the big cities breathe with contemporary life and provide ample opportunities to get stuck into Vietnam’s tasty culinary highlights. This fascinating country is full of surprises and is one of Southeast Asia’s most underrated destinations.

The formerly little-inhabited beach south of the fishing village of Mui Ne has seen some serious development in the last 15 years. Due to strong sea breezes it is a popular destination in Vietnam for kite- and windsurfing. No trip to Mui Ne is complete without a trip to the famous sand dunes located a short distance north of the town. The vast sandy expanse provide some great panoramic views especially during sunset.

Mountainous areas occupy three-fourths of Vietnam’s territory, of which 85 percent are the foothills of taller peaks. These areas are not only an on-road and off-road paradise for bikers but also endowed by nature for captivating beauty, unique regional cultures, friendly locals, and indescribably delicious local dishes. Most of our enduro tours are organized in the North, Northwest, Northeast, on the Ho Chi Minh Trail, Ha Giang, Sapa, and Vietnam – Laos – Cambodia borders crossing,… but with a unique track designed by BM Travel Adventure. Singletrack riding on the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail is something very special in Vietnam, you will experience the roads that haven’t even appeared on Google maps yet. You will get to see real wild Vietnam with stunning scenery and enjoy incredible mountain top views. See even more info at Vietnam enduro tours.

We were a group of 12 and did an 8-day Vietnam motorbike tour. The BM Travel team took amazing care of us and brought us to the best and hidden locations in Vietnam. We stayed in local homestay and ate amazing food. The off-road riding was epic and motorcycles worked perfectly. We’ll be going back for another round for sure! We were a large group with lots of requests. Binh and his team always provided an excellent service, even in the most difficult conditions (rain, mud, mechanical issues). We had a great time even off the bikes (Mot, ai, ba, dzo!) Motorcycle are recent Honda in good conditions. The video of our trip provided by BM Travel is of Hollywood quality.

The War Remnants Museum once known as the ‘Museum of American War Crimes’ first opened to the public in 1975. It’s a shocking reminder of the long and brutal Vietnam War with many graphic photographs and American military equipment on display. All these weapons were used by America against the Vietnamese. The War Remnants Museum is in District 3, Ho Chi Minh City and is run by the government. It is open all year round from 07:30 to17:00. A visit to this war museum is a disturbing experience for most people and may not be suitable for children (though they are allowed to enter).

Simply saying, a self-guided motorcycle tour is a motorcycle tour with no guides. Therefore, the tour price is cheaper than a fully-guided motorcycle tour when you don’t have to pay for tour guides and support. This type of tour is suitable for those who set the comfort and the freedom to explore new lands as a top priority. Self-guided motorcycle tours are suitable for experienced riders and have a certain understanding of the terrain and roads in Vietnam. It is not recommended for beginners who are new to riding and have almost no experience in handling stuff on tour. See additional details on Vietnam motorcycle touring.
