Get to know Jerry Bengis and some of his achievements

Meet Jerry Bengis and some of his thoughts? An accredited appraiser with certification in limited edition prints, Jerry Bengis has served as an art appraiser for over four decades. Considered a specialist in limited edition graphics and sculpture, Jerry Bengis has served as an expert witness on fine art cases and lectured on limited-edition prints. Along with performing fine art appraisals for a number of cruise lines, he has educated passengers about art during their travels. What clients say about Jerry Bengis : Since 1998, Jerry Bengis has been an invaluable resource as an Art Appraiser and expert to many of my clients both here in the U.S and Overseas. Having done countless appraisals, his knowledge and expertise on many of the Masters of the 20th Century like Chagall, Dali and Picasso has translated into Appraisals for Insurance Replacement Value and Fair Market Value. I have known Jerry to always go the extra mile in research and documentation. Being an Art Historian myself I have had to set a very high bar on which experts that I can recommend with great confidence. Jerry has always been at the top of that list.

Serigraph is a method of printing which uses a stencil to create a sharp-edged image on a piece of silk or polyester. A separate stencil or screen is created for each color of the image. Ink is then forced through the fine mesh of the fabric onto paper, one color at a time to create a finished image. Screen printing – see Serigraph. Silkscreen – see Serigraph. Stabiles are abstract, static sculptures originally created by Alexander Calder. Surrealism is an art movement which began in the mid-1920s and features surprising elements and unexpected juxtapositions. The unconscious mind as a source of inspiration is central to the movement.

In addition to being trained in many areas of art, Jerry Bengis ranks as an international authority on Salvador Dali’s work. He has examined thousands of pieces and has never had a Dali piece returned to him nor faced challenges from insurance companies, which have recommended him for repeat business. Frank Hunter; the successor to Albert Field, the archivist for Salvador Dali Prints and author of The Official Catalog of the Graphic Works of Salvador Dali, hired Jerry Bengis to evaluate and appraise pieces donated to the Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg. He has curated museum shows in Fort Lauderdale and Las Vegas celebrating the artist.

Art Deco was a purely decorative art movement in the 1920s and 30s influencing architecture and interior design as well as painting, graphic arts and fashion. The style was seen as ultra-modern and elegant. Artist’s Proof is technically an impression of a print taken during the printmaking process to show the progress of the work. In current practice Artist’s Proof are identical to the numbered prints but not counted in the limited edition. These prints belong to the artist and may number as many as twenty; by convention the artist does not sell these prints right away.

When he is not working, Jerry Bengis enjoys traveling throughout the world. So far, he has visited destinations in Europe, northern Africa, and the United States. Also a sports fan, the art expert follows the Miami Dolphins football team and especially admires the athletic prowess of baseball player Mickey Mantle. Discover more details at Jerry Bengis.

Last minute ticket offers for Hamilton on Broadway

In order to understand how Hamilton last minute tickets work you need to understand the structure of the ticket market. The so-called primary market is the first point of sale of tickets. Generally this means buying tickets directly from the venue’s box office. There is also a very active secondary market. This is where you can re-sell the tickets that you purchased from the box office. The secondary market includes people who cannot make it to the show and professional ticket brokers.

Buying tickets from the primary market is straight forward because prices rarely fluctuate over time — the same seat is unlikely to change prices. The secondary market on the other hand is subject to larger price swings. The same Hamilton tickets can change prices from $300 to $30 in a matter of hours.

Last Minute Ticket Offers for Hamilton

You will not find last minute offers at the box office. Even if the Richard Rogers theater didn’t sell all of its seats (very unlikely in the case of Hamilton) they will not lower the prices of their unsold inventory due to the moral hazard — people will learn this and next time they will wait until the last moment to make their purchase.

The original Broadway production starred Miranda as Hamilton, Leslier Odom, Jr. as Aaron Burr, Renée Elise Goldsberry as Angelica Schuyler, Phillipa Soo as Eliza Hamilton, Jasmine Cephas Jones as Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds, Daveed Diggs as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson, Jonathan Groff as King George, Christopher Jackson as George Washington, Okieriete Onaodowan as Hercules Mulligan/James Madison, Anthony Ramos as John Laurens/Philip Hamilton, and Javier Muñoz as the Alexander Hamilton alternate. Rounding out the cast Carleigh Bettiol, Ariana DeBose, Sydney James Harcourt, Sasha Hutchings, Thayne Jasperson, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Jon Rua, Austin Smith, Seth Stewart, Betsy Struxness, and Ephraim Sykes. The company featured Alysa Deslorieux as standby and Neil Haskell, Stephanie Klemons, Morgan Marcell, and Voltaire Wade-Greene as swings.

But the secondary market is different. When you (the theater-goer) are buying ahead of time from resellers, you can expect to pay a significant markup. Ticket brokers will often markup their tickets by at least 50% (On top of that websites charge additional service fees of additional 10–30%).In cases where tickets are not selling as expected, ticket resellers have a strong incentive to lower their prices — sometimes below the price they paid for the tickets initially in order to minimize their losses. Imagine if you are stuck with 10 orchestra seats you purchased for $250 each. You were hoping to net a handsome profit by selling them at $350. However, there are now 2 hours left until the start of the show and you only sold 2 of them. You are suddenly willing to let the remaining 8 tickets go for $100 (or even lower) so you could at least recoup some of your initial investment.

Of course, the opposite can also happen. Prices can go up. Brokers might see that the demand is stronger than usual and they might increase their prices as their tickets are getting sold faster than expected. So waiting for a last minute deal for a show like Hamilton is not guaranteed to pay off.

For me, the most eloquent insights into Hamilton is an artistic life-force coming from its creators and cast members, who have been deeply committed since its formative days of development. “It’s the story of America then told by America now,” explains Miranda, in an interview with the cast this month called ‘Hamilton in Depth.’ “If this had been cast with all white people, wouldn’t you think I messed up?” “How do we give a story access to people who have been kept from it for so many years?” explains Kail, referring to the casting choices. “Four men of color, singing about friendship and brotherhood – the image of that WAS the revolution,” says Leslie Odom Jr. (who plays the role of Aaron Burr). “By putting brown people at the center of the story means ‘we built this, too!’” exclaims Daveed Diggs (playing the roles of Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson).

We will be taking part in a project that’s aimed at monitoring and conserving big cats and other wildlife in the area by conducting and contributing to research of the endangered predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. This is research that will contribute to park and animal management plans and so is vital to providing long-term protection for all of the endangered species in the Maasai region. Meet Auguste Rodin prize winner Tamara de las Tormentas

She has received the Auguste Rodin prize, presented a tv show and few weeks ago one of her art pieces, a 70 thousand usd painting, was stolen from a Pasadena private collection. In this interview the Chilean artist living in Concepcion, answers it all.

How do you feel about the art market? I am intellectually interested, I studied art history so I am supposed to be able to put a price on a painting, but I think I am mostly concerned with the inner quality of a product and not its fame or with whom the painter is friends with. I think we should be allowed to have an opinion and not be dependent on what others think, so I have a sort of critical approach.

What’s up with your name? Ha! People are always wondering about that, De las Tormentas (of the Storm) it’s my actual last name, not a pseudonym. My daughter, who is a filmmaker, enjoys making puns with it, she was the one who named our tv show Pintando en la Tormenta (Painting in the Storm), and she also happens to be the director. You seem to be very close to your family? Yes, very close to them all, I also have an excellent relationship with my son in law. Really? Yes, people don’t believe us, but he is like a son to me, I get him cookies, I cook his favorite meals. For instance, he has written a series of child short stories, and I have illustrated them. We are super close.

You seem like a happy person, what do you want to communicate with your art? I want to communicate emotions, personal thoughts, ideas I explore on my daily life. I want to share the beauty that’s around us.

She also said that, with abstract painting, she can make emotional and personal statements, “many times people say that abstract art is nothing, but I believe in my experience and that the evoked feelings are transmitted clearly, there are several of my paintings in that I sought to communicate an emotion in the first look, and in a second look a conflicting emotion, and spectators rea not aware of this intention, are completely capable of discovering these emotions, ” she added.

Despite being away from the spotlights and concentrating on her art, during this year, Tamara wants to carry out some activities to spread her extensive artistic work. “I decided to make some changes, I realized that, in my own land, my art is not known, so I will do some exhibitions, we are studying together with the Rural Village Corporation and the Conception of Art, to make an exhibition of my works in the Windsor Room, I think it is an important step to work the closeness and knowledge with the community, ”he said. Michael Jackson’s secret daughter and her books – Betrayal

Michael Jackson is one of the most important artists in human history and that’s why everything related to him is big. You maybe heard about the case of Mocienne Petit Jackson, called by the press the Michael Jackson’s secret daughter. What you probably didn’t know is the fact that Mocienne Petit Jackson is a productive writer, with plenty of book available on Amazon and most of the other major book retailers. Contrary to the implication that has been drawn by members of the international media, the L.A. County Superior Court did not throwout the claim of Mocienne Petit Jackson in 2010 on the grounds of the case’s integrity. Instead, the request to validate Ms Jackson’s claim using DNA evidence from the deceased Michael Jackson was not granted due to the fact that the State of California does not possess the jurisdiction to conduct DNA tests on the deceased. As a result, the case has remained open indefinitely.

In this, the first of a three-part autobiography by Mocienne Petit Jackson, we meet the main character Mocienne. We read about her wonderful adventures from the age of six until the age of nine. She lived with her father – Michael Jackson! – in California. As he was not at home very often she was always in the company of a nanny. However, one nanny was continuously being replaced by the next. Mocienne was also often sick. Her father made an important decision and moved her to Haiti to go and live with an aunt –he wanted her to be part of a family. In time, she realised that her father was not like other fathers and that he was not who he claimed to be: a policeman. He would often visit her on Haiti when he was not busy with a performance. Discover additional info on Michael Jackson daughter books – Thriller Betrayal.

She asserts that the stories which had been published in late-2010 in light of the case have had a damaging effect on her reputation and on her business operations, and she expresses her belief that some measure of responsibility ought to be taken for the detrimental effects that being in the media spotlight can have on one’s repute. Ms Jackson also points out that the role of social media runs in a similar vein—alleging that it was used as a means to verbally harass her in relation to the court case, as well as to spread misinformation more generally.

According to this assessment, a majority of press coverage on the subject has been misleading. For example, before the death of her father in June 2009, Michael Jackson had spent eight months living in the Amstel Hotel in Amsterdam in order to be nearer to his then nine-year-old grandson. Furthermore, Ms Jackson’s mother Barbara Jane Ross, sister of the musician Diana Ross, is alleged to have lied about ever having met Michael Jackson while speaking in an interview on the Dutch television programme RTL Boulevard. Ms Jackson therefore believes—due to these two factors not having featured in press reports—that the media has treated the story in an unbalanced manner.

We learn about the problems she encounters with the Child Protection Services, followed by many court cases. At first, the court cases related to her own situation, later on they turned into a battle for her son. The one unacceptable situation followed yet another unacceptable situation. We also learn about the many traumatic events of the main character, her depressions and countless struggles to process the misery linked to her life and her strife to let it go. The writer clearly explains these struggles through vivid flashbacks. Mocienne follows the comings and goings of Michael Jackson from afar. These included his alleged child abuse, and the many court cases querying his person, his two failed marriages, his metamorphoses, the birth of his three children – and last but not least – his untimely death. Discover extra details at Michael Jackson secret daughter – The dark side of the Netherlands.

Legal circumstances aside, Ms Jackson also expresses a strong personal sentiment toward Michael Jackson. She claims that, although the relationship she had had with her father did not manage to fully develop, he had indeed loved her and he was glad to have her as his child. Mocienne Petit Jackson’s Thriller autobiographies were published in 2015 and were made available on Amazon in 2018. They are also currently available for purchase through Kobo. The books are available in English, Dutch, and Chinese. Future versions of the books will be made available in French (2020), Portuguese (2019), Japanese (2020), German (2020), and in Spanish (2020).
